For the past 5 years I have built over 100 websites, different subjects, project complexity and expertise field. From my experience there’s a lot of details to deal with in order to make your website successful, today I would like to share few of my tips, hopefully you’ll find them useful when looking for next web development project.
Plan – first thing you want to do in to do some Google research, find closest competition sites, look through their ideas, content, general website message and how it’s presented. Do not waste your time thinking about graphics at this point.
Hire seo consultant – if you want your new website working for you make sure you’ll hire a seo consultant to discuss all the details before moving forward. Things such domain name or content development will play a major role in the future seo process.
User – when creating your web plan, think of the potential user and general message you want to deliver. If you feature some product or service focus how you want to include it in your content
Graphic design – keep in mind that web graphic is separate section and your layout does not have to be created by chosen web design company. You can have it designed somewhere else and sliced by your designer. Be unique, do not copy anybody, think of the graphics as an addition however keep in mind that content is first
Stay on the process – make sure your designer understands your point that’s why it is good idea to meet for a coffee before final decision.
